An art historian, Adela Turin founded a publishing house for children books, Dalla Parte Delle Bambine, in Milan in 1974. That was the origin of a editorial experience at that time where she tackled girls’ rights. Her work is very well known in France, Italy and Spain, and she has been translated into different languages. She lives in Paris.
