Lucía Serrano was born in Madrid in 1983. She  graduated in Fine Arts and later  moved to Barcelona where she currently resides. She is the author and illustrator of many books and has won several   awards includuing the Princess of Éboli, Fund for Economic Culture award and  Cuatrogatos in 2016.
