She was born and live in Reggio Emilia, Italy. For as long as she can remember, reading has always been an important part of her life. In particular, she have been passionate about picture books since her parents brought her a book as a gift from Prague when she was eight years old.

A few years ago, her passion for reading was joined by that of writing for children, which led her to publish some books for children and young people.
