He’s told his stories across Spain, Cuba, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Australia, Brasil, Mexico, Venezuela, Belgium and France, and his work has been translated to English, German, French, Italian and Portuguese.
He’s been awarded the Lazarillo award both for literary creation (2008) and for illustrated album (2013), the Ciudad de Alicante 2003, the Villa d’Ibi 2008, Leer es vivir 2009 and three of his books have made it to the prestigious The White Ravens selection, a list of the world’s top 250 children and youth books, carried out each year by the Internationale Jugendbibliothek (International Youth Library) in Munich.
