Bea Enrìquez was born in Madrid (Spain) and studied Illustration at the School of Arts and Crafts No. 10. From 2005 to 2010, she collaborated with the Madrid Professional Association of Illustrators (APIM). Her work spans a wide range of fields including mural painting, picture books, textbooks, poetry, textile design, advertising, logo design, comics, and graphic novels.

She won the Fnac-Salamandra Graphic International Graphic Novel Prize in 2018.
