Anya Damirón is an author and storyteller of children’s stories who has  published independently since 2008, with the support of several sponsers in her country, the Dominican Republic. She shares her knowledge of picture books with Dominican families in her project Renta un Cuento and tells  weekly stories on her podcast Hoy Quiero Contarles. Her books have been translated into Polish, English, Valencian, Czech, Dutch, Catalan, Portuguese, Korean, Slovak and Russian.
