Writer Nubeocho

Javier Ruescas was born in Madrid and holds a degree in Journalism. He has published numerous novels that have made him one of the best-known children’s and young adult writers among Spanish and Latin American readers. His works include the children’s series Malada Madrina (Edelvives) and La abuela espía (Edebé), co-written with Andrés Quinzaños; the novels Pulsaciones and Latidos (SM), co-written with Francesc Miralles; Prohibido creer en historias de amor (Penguin Random House); and Lo que pasó (Crossbooks). In 2015, he won the Hache Prize for Literature.

Besides writing, Javier is currently working on various audiovisual projects as a screenwriter. He has worked as an editor and has participated in numerous international conferences, talks, and round tables on new technologies, young authors, and the state of young adult literature in Spain. White, Red or Blue, Nobody Is Like You is his first picture book.
